Definitely has the same Kanye "blkkk skkkn head" beat/flow like Gottasadae by BeWhy, Watch Me by Jaden, etc. Have heard it used a lot in kpop the last few years. So if you like this you might like those too! :)

Agreed there is a level of maturity to the older groups. But what I like the best is their experience, skill and control over their voices and performance that only comes with decades of practice and it can’t be replicated over a short period of time.

@@Myandmeu From what I remember, TVXQ! broke the unfair (almost like a slave, such as the members were tied to lengthy and restrictive contracts, with a duration of up to 13 years) contract norms prevalent in the K-pop industry at that time. The K-pop landscape underwent a profound transformation after their actions, resulting in fairer treatment for idols today. However, as an act of retaliation, three out of the five members (those who chose to leave the company during the lawsuit) were banned from appearing on TV shows by SM Entertainment.

I love when SM does this thing of using as a sample classical pieces, man!!! Also all the symbolism in the mv is sublime, creative, attractive and adds even more meaning. I want to say, this is likely what you’d see when each and every part of the whole crew is obviously experienced at what they have to offer. The artists’ confidence, the choreography, the costumes, the lighting, the concept, the editing, the music producing, the lyrics. Even though I always appreciate their hard work, honestly speaking, I do have songs and MVs that move me more than the others, and I think this MV is one of that. I’m gonna repeat this a lot. To be fair their last group cb in Korea was 2018. International fans also talk about them way less than other SM groups. They are huge in Japan though and way more active there than they are in Korea! You probably have already heard some of their older songs like Mirotic or Rising Sun without knowing they are the original artists 😊 Their solo stuff is great too, highly recommend checking them out.

This comeback is mindblowing!!! I really love that this song is kind of the opposite of many other TVXQ songs, focusing on Yunho‘s badass deep vocals in contrast to Changmin‘s stunning high notes~ Not to mention the entire visual concept being 100/10!!!
