I love how his background dancers always tend to be equal number male and female and it's not in-your-face at all. They dance the same things, sometimes switching between them, sometimes mixed together. It's not about having 'sexy girls' in the background or 'more handsome men' or something, but actually just to have competent dancers for a better performance /)(\ It's like saying that gender of the dancers doesn't matter and doesn't take advantage of any gender either. For those folks who are complaining the dances are not “in sync,” Taemin specifically said the intent was for him and the dancers to NOT be in sync. He wanted them to all have the same feel and movements but to not be in sync because that’s the point of the MV and the message of the song - to NOT conform to expectations. In fact, his hair, the set, the clothes are all a bit messy and slightly chaotic and off. Even the room he is in is small and doesn’t quite fit. The point is to NOT be in sync but to be off a bit.
