She also did well in the intro and prechorus, those verses are continuous and requires incredible breathing technique. You could hear the pauses and breaths from winter and changmin but taeyeon's is flawless. ❤

Whoever arranged this is a freaking genius. We all know putting Taeyeon and Changmin together will make a song pleasing to the ear no matter what. But adding Winter, giving her soothing adlibs, not forcing her to compete with the two regarding hitting high notes, makes this a masterpiece. They sounded so amazing, what a masterpiece.

The song does sound amazing, but im kind of sad they nerfed Winter, she was more than capable to hit those notes with them. Still incredible tho!!!

@@ritadourado6729 it’s about balance, though, and her soothing vocals are a nice contrast to Taeyeon and Changmin being quite loud next to her. I think having all 3 of them doing that at once would have been more grating than impressive.

@@gabiburner Very true, Winter's part showcases her voice's smooth and soft side. I didn't notice until Nico pointed it out but it's so true-the song as a whole definitely benefits from the contrast. Winter's performance makes the story feel realistic and vulnerable, while Taeyeon and Changmin's parts give power and a more corporeal legitimacy to the words being sung. The song would be missing something if it was *just* a virtuosity showcase. It's better to serve the music well (and allow idols to indulge their various abilities) than to always give everyone something sensational. Besides, that would be tiring, no? And I think it's more respectful to Winter to appreciate that she can lend beauty to a song in multiple ways, even if some might see it as a back seat role. Overall I agree this arrangement is astounding. My favorite track on the album.

@@xxgxxnismilan6374 yes. She is a great vocalist as same as Taeyeon. Taeyeon's in her debut was C, later C+, later B, later B+/A- and now A. Winter was in her debut C now since girls she is C+. I think Winter will be A in the future like Taeyeon

Whoever arranged this ...I love you bc they dont make songs like this anymore. This is why I love SM vocalists so much, they can SING. Winter's timbre is so smooth, its so easy on the ears. Taeyeon's voice has aged wonderfully so it sounds full and mature. I love Max because his agility and power fit so well, esp when he and Taeyeon harmonize.

Taeyeon and Changmins’ part at 3:08 showing why they’re the MAIN VOCALISTS of SM. It was truly a blessing to the ears having two top-tier vocalists sing together. Taeyeon and Changmin are two vocalists in SM that I feel have a lot of versatility, they can do any type of songs.

Taeyeon is one of KPOP’s best voices for a reason. Many Kpop singers can sing high notes but no one sings the way Taeyeon does and gives me the feeling Taeyeon’s voice does. It’s really true when they say any song Taeyeon touches becomes better. Her and Changmin, two main vocalists effortlessly yet beautifully belting notes was just a whole feast to the ears. These 2 have such electric voices that gives me goosebumps.

Winter adding flavor with her adlibs while taeyeon and changmin are belting their high notes. This song just showcased winter's voice tone and i love YYJ for making this possible. They always make her belt those high notes with aespa songs and this is like a breath of fresh air. Vocal chameleon, Kim Winter i cannot wait to hear more from you

I love how each of them have their own sound but really suit each other too. Feels more like a group than just a collab. And Taeyeon's high note... It's been 16 years yet she still makes people amazed by her amazing vocals 😭💙

창민은 노래 정말 발라드부터 락까지 다양하게 잘하는데 가수하려고 했던사람도 아니고 그냥 공부 좀 했던 강남출신인데 그냥 얼굴로 길에서 뽑힌사람이... 너무 대단하네요

These 3 are definitely the best singers in their own group. I am so happy that sm utilizes winter's voice and gives her more opportunity inside and outside of the group like being in girls on top. She is a superstar and will always shine in any group she is in.
