One of my top songs, if not my top song, of last year. Its incredible and its truly so him. I'm so glad key fought SM about this, even if it caused him lots of tears (really think an artist should be putting out music that they are proud of - and even better that key's music taste seems to align so well with mine!).

This is what happens when SM gives their artist freedom. Pure art that beautifully expresses the artist's soul, not just some fabrication about superpowers, etc. (There's nothing wrong with that, but it feels less sincere? idk.) I just hope that the artist won't have to fight for his freedom next time, that he won't have to cry after filming, that he will have the full freedom because you see this video? IT'S A MASTERPIECE.

Crying is a normal cathartic emotion that many creative people experience after completion of a project. I certainly don't know Key, nor was I in the room when he was working, so I can't comment on his experience. I'm simply saying crying isn't always bad. For me it clears away the remnants of the project so I can start the next journey with a free slate.

@@michellesCanape agree. But for Key’s case, he cried because he felt overwhelmed after what he’s been through. I imagine fighting for his own creative freedom cost many things. Not to mention shinee has been treated like a step son for so long now. There are many drama, different opinions, budget issue, and some of his visions were scrapped completely. And when it’s finally over, he cried. His tears were tragic, and many fans wished he will not have to suffer this kind of hardship anymore.

This song is criminally underrated. I never could get into Shinee, but I'm truly loving Key's solo work. As soon as I heard the first few seconds, I knew this would become an all time favorite kpop song for me. His musical vision and (retro b-movie-esque) aesthetics feel so unique within the genre, not to mention that he is an excellent dancer and beautiful doing it. I only wish I knew about his solo work sooner.

Key was definitely robbed by MAMA. Key, Taemin, and SHINee don't need nominations or awards for validation-- they're already well established and recognized by everyone-- but it was still so unfair. I'm still proud they were the only 2nd gen group nominated amongst 3rd and 4th gen groups. Lets continue to shower them with our love and support! Keep stre*ming their music please!

Key sings every line with such emotion. It’s rare for an SM artist to be allowed to have so much control over the whole concept, and KEY’s vision was… THIS. I mean. The talent !!! He is so amazing.

I’m crying out of happiness for him. He deserve so many people to know about his talent, music, fashion, dancing skills, voice etc. SM really needs to believe in the OG singers. They have the talents, skills, experiences, fan base and so much more. Love Key’s voice started from that one line in Replay. That deep unique nasal sound. I hope and wish each of the Shinee members to get as much attention and love they deserve. Starting from Jonghyun, then Taemin, now Key, later Onew and Minho. Shinee 5 Forever. The legends and performers each one of them is unique in their own way. A group that makes sure your bias is on rotation.

That's literally one of the best choruses I've heard lately. Wow. Key always delivers but this is insane. From the visuals to the song production, everything is fire. The footwork at 3:05 just ended me.

KEY is the hidden gem of SHINee, he got creativity and talents all together. I just knew he directed every process of this concept and album although SM team was against him because they wanted him to follow SM general concept for their artists this year. WE MUST SUPPORT HIM FOR STANDING UP FOR HIS IDENTITY AS AN ARTIST. I am extremely proud of him.

There's been a few songs over the last year or so with the 80s vibe going on and whilst I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, I am living for every second of this. New wave and synth music have always been a big influence in my life so to hear that sound creeping into Korean music, I am a very, VERY happy bunny!
