This era sounds so different from the music EXO is producing now. I know artists change music styles, evolve, and grow as their career progresses, but just like I'll always miss OT12, I'll always miss the simplicity of songs like this one. The nostalgia is so strong. I miss you, MAMA era.

My own opinion: First, Popularity and achievements are from their fans. You streamed their songs multiple times, watched their mvs and buy their albums. Meanwhile, we don't care about any of that. Yes, we do care about our faves achievements and we do try to make them win by voting but not to the point that we're going to waste our time watching the same my for an hour or so. They don't force us too. They remind us that we have a life aside from them. Second, recognition is also based on popularity. My faves get recognised because of their talents. Their vocals, their sense of style, their versatile acting, their dance styles. They have a life beside shitloads of comebacks and our faves can stand alone without the help of their members. For example: EXO Baekhyun could be BYUN BAEKHYUN as a soloist, as an actor, a luxury brand ambassador. And I'm proud to say that this is what EXO taught us. We didn't have so many views in an my bcs they always remind us that we should focus on ourselves first or study first than watching their ig lives, them who always tell us to buy foods instead of alburns, and most especially having their own unique talent in their solo activities with us making us all proud as EXO-LS

Can we just take time to appreciate Chen and Xiumin for a while. Chinese have very difficult pronunciations and a different way of stressing the word can make it mean something completely different. The fact that both xiumin and chen sang chinese is amazing enough. Their pronunciation may not be perfect but its good.

I think you're talking about tones here? Chinese is a tonal language (it has four), so yeah how you stress a work makes it mean something different. However, sung Chinese isn't tonal, that is to say, tones don't matter in song since notes and melodies make it hard to tell how a word is being stressed outside of context. That's why all Chinese language music videos have subtitles.

It's not that people are not ready for conversation, but it's just a matter of preference i actually like DO'S tone more than any body else in exo even if i know for a fact that chen's voice is incredible and his high notes are not a joke but for me DO's voice is more appealing to my ears that's all

You are correct , actually when I started as a casual listener I didnt watched chinese ones first ,I just started to watch only because I want to see how Chen sounds but absolutely each chinese song was very much powerful than korean one It was not just Chen . And Chen's voice sound so incredible to my ears his voice is so powerful . I cant believe how underated exom with international fans . I have heard that EXO is the most popular and talented group in kpop years ago but I never thought SM has used best vocalist among them in chinese version . I have heard about all chinese members though I didnt tried exo or any kpop songs longago and I knew their were few korean members there I never checked them,I never thought they were very talented this much having best vocalist and best all rounder . But now I feel sad about that. Anyway all exom songs are very much powerful .

Coming back here and I think Luhan deserves more appreciation in the comment section. He's more than sweet face. Lu-ge holds so much vocal power. EXO-M in general also deserves so much better but sm :/
