I am here again listening to this wonderful song because of Jungwon from Enhypen. As an exo-l, hearing him cover this song brought back some memories from the past. I am and always a fan of EXO, and nothing can change it. I really miss my exo :(

Actually the MV is inspired in a poem called "The Astronaut's Whale". It talks about how a whale wasn't feeling like he belonged to the sea and how he wanted to see the stars and sun, then he met the astronaut. They quickly became friends and then decided to go to the space in the astronaut's rocket, and they were happy... until they started to feel homesickness and realized that the place were they really belong to was the sea and mainland, where their loved ones were. Because they (their families) won't last forever but the stars will. The scene where Sehun was in the space with the whale represents the moment when both realized that they miss their home and friends, thing that I think connects the other scenes of the MV and explain them very well. In those scenes we can see the members playing around and then, one of them being alone and sad. The whole MV is about missing someone and regretting getting away from them or doing something that hurt them. Edit: Oh, I forgot to add something! At the end of the MV we can see how the members are together again, just like the poem, where the astronaut and the whale comeback to the mainland and ocean respectively, so at least there is a happy ending

my interpretation:A group of friends who are very close to each other. They had a party and celebrated, drinking etc. Half the members: Lay, Chen, Baekhyun, D.O. got into a car accident on the way home and died. That's why you see memories of them fading out and disappearing. The other members who weren't in the car feel angry and guilty this has happened. That they couldn't save them. That's why you see chanyeol and suho fighting. They blame each other for not stopping them. Kai is angry and that's why you see him destroying his room and running to the car. He thinks if only he could have stopped and saved them. He just want's his friends back. D.O. was the driver but I think he survived. He feels guilty he's the only one that lived. That's why he's screaming in the car. Sehun is in space alone cuz that's how he feels. His friends are gone and feels lost in space without them. In the end, I'm not sure if they go back to the time where they decide to not get into the car cuz you see the members reappearing? Or... the other members just come to realization that even with the dead members gone they are always still a part of them and never forgotten. I still don't know about the whale but that's all I got :)
