The comment section is so stupid 😒 34 is still young ! Boa started her career as a kid. So people would assume she is old because she has been around for a long time. Now if she’s started her career in her late 20’s to early 30’s, no one would make a big deal about her age. She would have been considered a “new music artist” Take a look at Jolin Tsai it’s funny that she is way older than Boa and has been around longer than her, but no is complaining about her age at all, they just love her music. The hypocrisy is real 😑

@@jonghyxn5 Strongly recommend Only One, Game, Every Heart, Valenti, Woman, and Amazing Kiss. BoA has a lot of memorable and hit songs. It's just she worked in Japan a lot so the response from Korea is not as 'passionate' compared to other artists.

better 보면서 보아+유영진= sm 이라는 걸 다시 한 번 느낌. 안무랑 의상까지 걍 너무 보아답다. 뭐든 멋있지만 특히 통 큰 바지에 운동화신고 춤출때 보아는 진짜 누구도 흉내못냄. 세상에서 젤 멋있음ㅠ 원샷투샷 할때 보아가 본인도 레드벨벳 같이 대중들이 쉽게 따라할 수 있는 포인트 안무 넣고 싶다고 그랬었는데 ㄴㄴ 보아는 걍 우린 못따라하지만 보아만 낼 수 있는 묵직하고 카리스마 있는 안무가 걍 보아임. 진짜 너무 멋있다.

@@AsianPopStop Thank you for responding with this. At times, there are many on the internet who gets upset if they hear something even remotely similar to any other media created. There are teams that work together to bring to us a new song or form of media. Legal practices are followed and examined through the entire process. There are perhaps only a few times, a media would be released without going through a rigorous procedure. I've seen songs tank because of rumors that an artist "plagiarized," when in reality, it's far from it. If you personally have not worked in music production, you won't have the full spectrum of understanding the many steps artist and teams go through, to give you the opportunity to listen to their songs. Learn more and understand the whole situation, before making an assumption, such as plagiarism on Boa Kwon or any other artists..

When people say she paved the way, it doesn't mean she did A to Z of Kpop but has made a great contribution to the industry. Yeah, there were and still are many brilliant artists before and after BoA's success. However, BoA showed us Kpop can go global with a hard-trained trainee of dance pop music. It was a social phenomenon: everyday newspaper and TV news were full of what she did and how foreign markets reacted, not only in cultural section but also in social, economic, and political sections. Plus, there's no entertainment company in Korea who even doesn't consult SM's strategies in 2000s which have roots in BoA's success. So stop devalue what she did. Don't tell me that I don't know Korean culture and history cuz I'm Korean and I've got ages enough to know and listen to Korean pops in 2000s and 1990s when I was young.

Funny that BoA was literally the first K-Pop singer I ever heard; when I heard Masayume Chasing (Fairy Tail's 15th opening), I was like "hm, this is cool, I wonder who sings this song…" and that's how I learned about her 😂

You can tell people Like BoA will always put out music as long as they can.... because she is having a blast. She WANTS to dance, she WANTS to dress up, she thrives in it. This is like a fun activity for her, I have no information to back this up besides looking at her own content. Every music video its like she says "sweet another dance party? I am so down"

i don't know how to explain this but... even if this song is being released at the end of 2020, anyone could guess it was released by a 1st generation idol. i love how boa is still active in the era of 4th generation kpop BUT she still brings her old school sound with her music and she does it beautifully. she's not trying to fit in with newer groups' sound but at the same time she's not outdated at all. a legend.

If you watch some of her more introspective videos (her own "variety") related to this comeback, she worried about this a lot and said for this comeback, she hopes people will listen but instead of thinking "wow this is BoA" they would think "wow this is trendy". I'm glad she made her dreams come true. Some things feel very old school here, maybe naturally because of the R&B vibe? However I also think it's the cinematography (maybe camera angles). Otherwise I'm also in that tingly moment where this song sounds so unbelievably contemporary and chic, and if enough people give this a chance, I think it would hit big with GP. Seriously, I hope that happens :) "Better" is also actually a really confident song, and it's touching to have a female artist in her 30s saying this message (she makes it believable). I love it.

이 정도 수준의 여가수가 존재했다는 것만으로 이미 전설인데.. 그 넘사벽 수준의 여가수가 아직도 34살에 성숙한 실력으로 계속 노래를 내주는 것만으로 엄청난 축복이 아닐 수 없다.. 보아는 아직 곁에있고 현역이라 오히려 저평가 받는 느낌이다..

예전에 1위 밥먹듯 할 때도 판매량 조금만 떨어지면 헐뜯었고 지금도 별반 다르지 않죠. 예능을 안 하면 노래를 안 낸 게 돼 버리는 이상한 나라기도 하고. 가수가 콘서트만 하면 무시당하는 나라는 아마 우리나라뿐일 것 같네요.
